the Durango has finally died on me. It'll be repaired this summer, but for now I need something that's reliable to get back and forth to work (45min drive away). Something better on gas. I just don't like cars much, so I found a Jeep instead.

2013 wrangler sport with a 3" lift on 33s with duck cepek wheels. Not even 10k miles on it. The wheels will be getting taken off soon as I can. I'd imagine salt isn't good for that style wheel. Might see if the Durango wheels will fit so I can swap them.

Relative to the Durangos v8 with 4.56 gears, yes. No hard top. Summers here are so dry that I will be running around topless (LOL) for most of it. It was -15 driving it home this morning from the dealer, I was warm enough to shut the heat off most of the way back.

I thought first gen Durango's were 6 lug wheels. All wranglers, including your JK are 5 lug wheels. So I don't think your wheels will swap. If those keep wheels ate clear coated, don't worry about salt.

    Nice jeep!

    What happened with the Durango?

Sorry to hear that you'll have to drive that around instead of a durango.
Is the durango's front end in the pic?
    Jeep looks real good.

Nice Jeep Joe ... will make the ride to and from work this summer (with doors & roof off) like you're on a 4 wheel bike...

Hey, hey! Very nice Jeep Joe! Love the black color on just about any vehicle. Enjoy it! What do you use to haul wood? Will you pull a light trailer behind it to haul your wood?

I use the Durango to haul wood... Just stack it in the back.

My plan is to fix the Durango and use it just for that purpose. I'm not taking a new vehicle in the woods for cutting firewood. I'd really hate to see a tree get knocked over on to it. Happened with the Durango last spring. Took one down, knocked another over on top of the D! Sucks and all you can do is sit and watch it happen.

Not risking a new truck to that fate.

And thanks for the compliments! It was nice going to work this morning not having to deal with a bad fuel pump and no heat. So much better knowing I'm gonna make it to and back home from work.

I had a jeep until me wife 'thought' it would be a good idea to sell it when we got married 17 wonderful years ago.

I left the heater turned up all winter. Was always cold anyways. Couldn't do more than 70 on the highway. No rear seats. Couldn't have conversation with the person next to you.... I'd buy one in a minute if the wife 'thought' it was a good idea.
