just for fun I bought up accuweather extend outlook for SE Mass. hey guess what, the first 50*+ day is still a month away(Mar. 26th). let's do a retake on Ground Hog Day using the Easter Bunny?
So my weather has been all heavy rain right @33.5F all day, its a different story 15miles north 3-5". 50miles north they have 8-10" and climbing. Unfortunately somehow the tin was half covering the wood trailer and most of the wood is soaked Raining too hard to justify going up to the pile right now for reinforcements, whne it changes over to snow tonight I should be able to fetch enough for tomorrow
Geeze that doesn't sound good for opening day at Fenway, there's got to be a few feet of snow on the field, wonder if it's heated.
I am enjoying the pictures of the snow. Oliver! definitely looks like the king of the hill. Stinny I really love the first picture of the snow on the trees behind the wood stacks. I haven't lived in too many places with lots of snow but one winter we lived where it was almost waist high (I'm 5' tall) for almost a week. It was quite a struggle for me to get around.
Nice weekend here....but as usual, looks likes it's the calm before the storm http://link.brightcove.com/services...cLBbf7sdeLmdlNKkLA_yaaQ0O&bctid=4085617282001

well 6 am temp at logan +15*, Ply -2*,Taunton -2*,+1 Mvy. once again got to move to the city. meteo spring enjoy. accuwaeather with a 3 day stretch mid 50's 12-14th. if it only proves true. most meteos are are generally saying cold to averages into april. around here the ocean water will keep it down for quite a while. long shoulder season!
We got between 5 and 6 Just enough to have to make a pass with the snowblower over everything. One advantage to just a couple of inches is you can move right along at a pretty good pace for a change. With all this shovel and snowblower dancing I should be as thin as a rail.
hey bonz, just to let you know 15 miles or so up the road (zero) snow. had to crow a little on this one. have a day
We ended up with 8-10" with some drifts over my knees. Mrs piney sent me these pics while I was at work plowing. My dad came by after plowing himself out and plowed our driveways then took baby piney for a ride in the snow.
Looking for spring? read this and weep! http://www.wsi.com/blog/energy/pull-out-your-mjo-composites-because-its-time-to-use-them/ wsi part of the weather channel line up. they mostly service energy companies, compete with Bastardi's " Weatherbell"
Just keep piling it up the best ya can. My house is back there somewhere. Keeping it firewood related, not much pine left.
