Added new furniture to my Mossberg 500. I had previous been running a Hogue 12" LOP stock and the stock Mossberg tri-rail forend. The Hogue stock was okay, but I felt ergonomics could be better. I decided to give the Magpul SAG stock and forend a try. I ordered the flat dark earth version for Primary Arms. Install was a breeze, and I am very happy with the overall fit and finish. Ergonomics for me is great, (YMMV).

    I like it!
I'm thinking about some new furniture for the wifes Benelli M4
The pistol grip is nice but when you turn your wrist you also drop your elbow making it too long to shoulder easy/fast.
    I'd like an adjustable/collapsible stock

Is the butt rated for 3-1/2"? Couldn't find anything on their site.

LOP is adjustable from 12.35"-14.35" using the supplied half inch spacers.

Actually I was referring to shell capacity. A lot of after-market stocks are good to 3", but not for 3-1/2". I'm wondering if any of the paperwork you have states what the stock is compatible with. Additional recoil and all that.

Okay, understand now. I'll have to check.

Very nice. I've yet to change anything on a shotgun but I may consider it now.

The supplied lecture makes no mention of being rated for 3.5"shells. Being as the 500 & 590 are only 3" I'd say that is why.

Thanks. My 870 is chambered for 3-1/2", and repeated e-mails and calls to Magpul get me nowhere. I know they're going through a change in locations/manuf. , but a simple response would help. Heck, I was one of the first 100 to get in on the "Boulder Airlift".
I like that stock, it looks really good on your Mossberg. The LOP adjustment is a huge plus to me and the ergonomics are appealing.
I just need to know if it works with 3-1/2" shells.
