thought i'd tease ya a little fuzz........................i got three, how many do you want?................
I wont even tell you about the one I sold to a guy at work for $200. Just wanted it out of the barn. Ran great but not a looker. Was for work by dad for many years then to me. Had new tires on all 3 corners.
I want to say it was a 185 but dad put a 200 top on it when rebuilt. If that was possible I dont know. Had a pull start. I dont remember no electric start on this one.
yep, the 200cc top end will go right on the 185, i redid a 185 that way, 200 cylinder with 200x pop up piston and a full dg exhaust, ran quite well, i still have another 185 over at a friends place that i'd like to sell as well................
I cant find pics of my 3 wheelers. I had a honda thinking 83 200X too. Had wider rear axle, afm exhaust etc. Need to ask to see if parents got any pics when I hauled it from Va. Looked something like this.
I grew up on a '84 Kawasaki 110 3 wheeler- back then, we called 'em trikes. My brother and I beat the snot outta that thing, but it got its revenge on our kidneys (NO suspension!) Seeing that Big Red and the 200x sure bring back memories!!! Eric VW
i owned an '84 200x for a while, i still favor the semi-auto trans over the manual clutch atvs, at least where i ride semi is about the only way to go.........ironically i worked for a cycle dealership in josh's home town during the atv boom, i was there from '83 through late '86, three wheelers got pulled from the market by late spring of '87, the '87's are highly sought after, not many to be found, i really miss those days, had a lot of great times and memories, i still remember all of these highly sought after bikes being assembled at the store, i'll never forget watching two guys that were locals that both bought new kawasaki 750 turbos drive by in front of the store on a beautiful late spring day, that vision has never left me, those bikes are very hard to find now, if we could have only known then............
don't laugh too hard, those little suzuki alt 50's are considered rare, at least in that condition, i picked that one up from the same guy that two of the b/r 250's came from, it wasn't exactly cheap either, but i said to myself, i'll never find another in that shape, or possibly in any shape...........
here's a pic of a '77 atc 90 that i restored about five years ago and then sold about two years later................
Wife's cousin is into the Rupp mini bikes and seems he has the whole dang line up in a row. Riding a black widow was a eye opener after drinking all day at a family outing.
