On the exhaust I simply squared up the corners just a little careful not to lower it any and widened just a little and I mean very little. And the I take tunnel I just smoothed up and took all casting lines out. 20150217_182453.jpg 20150213_154521.jpg 20150217_182409.jpg

Thank you. Slow and steady. Ready to see if I have gains or losses. Lol. Either is possible on this saw.

20150218_170641.jpg Ok boys I got the heat shield and gasket port matched tonight. Didn't turn out quite as pretty as I hoped but should flow good. I just don't like how you can still see the slots. Lol.

20150218_174336.jpg This is how much I am going to have to open the muffler up. Now remember it's already quite a bit larger cause the muffler use to slide into the jug.

20150218_174118.jpg I have installed the jug. The bases on these jugs are pretty thin. So I opted to go without a base gasket. So essentially I lowered the jug around .042 ". I use per mate motoseal when I remove the gaskets. I'll let this sit over night.

20150218_172207.jpg Here's a little something I do. I will be the first to admit I still have a lot to learn on these "simple" little engines. But i run water threw the trans so I can see how there flowing and the angles the flow are coming out at. I know that's it's a gas not a liquid that flows threw these but it helps me learn.

Fluid dynamics applies to all things moving, including rocks and dirt.

I always use water to watch the flow into the cylinder.

20150219_163258.jpg 20150219_162507.jpg Alright boys. Assembly all done. I made a wrench to adjust these carbs. They take a double d wrench. However I pulled the needle and slit it so who ever buys this saw will not haft to have the special wrench.

Nice!! Looks good! Waiting for a video and a review on your thoughts.

Do you have another 80 cc saw there to compare to?

Yes I have a brand new 7910 untouched to compare to. And other than that a 390xp would be the next close thing I could grab.

O and here's the thing. When I get a recipe worked out for these I will sell them for $935 pho ported. $835 24" b&c stock. I think retail is $870 pho so what's a good comp in that price range. These 2 test saws will be sold a bit cheaper when i get them done. At least this one will make the kc mo charity cut.

Than you'll really like that any bar chain combo u want for this model will also be sold at my cost. I took on selling these so I could offer those kind of prices.
