A guy I work with is taking his family to Florida for a vacation next Friday I think. They are spending one night there. Then hopping on a cruise ship to go further South where it will actually be warm. LOFL

Ugh! I did something to my back yesterday! Nooooooooo. Strange. One time I climbed up on the tractor and sat down I felt a sharp pain in my back. It hurt, but I moved around slowly for A bit and it went away. I worked the rest of the day okay. No problem. Now, if I move a certain way, I get pain. But all I did was sit on my tractor. Weird. The other day at work I did slip going up some stairs though. I had to catch myself and felt it strain my arm and back a little. But no problems moving around afterword. I'll have to go easy today. But I can't sit and do nothing. Tough call. Seems fine most of the time, but when I move a certain way, OUCH.

You've probably got a disc out of alignment. Also have probably aggravated the tissue around the area. I use Aleve for this type of situation. Lay low and give things time to settle down. If it is a alignment problem, I have found mine usually take care of themselves in a day or so.

It is cold. Cold enough the house was creaking and popping last night. Very unsettling. I cycled the baseboard heat for about 15 minutes before going to bed...doubt if it helped much but gave me some peace of mind.

Stove kept up without assistance on another windy subzero night...so I'm happy about that. Hedge is awesome.

Work today. ..hardware store run after. ..

Supposed to get 1-8" of snow tonight and tomorrow depending on where you look at the forecast.

Pinched nerve maybe. You put yourself in a certain position and the sharp pain shows up.

I know exactly what you mean, I'm in the same boat. And it's one of those things where you know what your limits are and at the same time you know you have to continue to work. Nobody wants to risk getting cut.

No work today, too cold. I think I'm gonna do some work in my basement to prepare for water from this rain coming, I don't think I can escape being dry when the water has no where to go. Might go to HD later and look at a backup pump too. Genny is good.

Luckily for me I am off today. But I have things that have to be done around the house and outside.

I did just relieve my body of some pressure. Hopefully that will help. But I have my doubts. Rotti tells me it helps him all the time.:picard:

I'm getting ready to roof rake the house, with the warmer weather coming in every so often, I want about two feet or more open.

Good idea, better to be proactive than reactive.

I've been doing it every week since we started to receive snowfalls of 3 inches or above.
