    At around 5:25 in her broken english, she says "I can hordly breed" You can bet ole bill didn't get any breeding for quite some time after this!

    This is the area where I will be this summertime. Hope that woman is long gone by then.

    Thats awesome! If you look at about the 19 minute area across to the other side I've been there. Awesome..Awesome... Time... I haven't been down that particular road, but have seen it from across the valley. We went out to Colorado two years back to back, had a total blast (also one of the sickest times that I've been (Headaches and out of breathe))... The vertical and unstable footing makes the hair on the back of your neck stand on end, awesome times. That road has claimed a LOTTA of lifes. When you look over the cliffs and see a nothing but a balled up or busted up vehicle... Yep awesome times, but definetly real life... Now I want to get my jeep back together....

    I know exactly what ole' Bill was feeling that day, my wife and I took our jeep grand Cherokee up the Mt Washington auto road a few years back and my poor wife had a complete meltdown. It was one of those times she was trying to beat a fear of heights and it just didn't happen, I felt bad.

    My honey has that same fear too IS. As much as ole Bill's bride was "kinda neeeeeeeervous"... o_O... the video sure does show a couple times how hairy those switch backs look from the front seat. Pointed off a 2000' cliff... hopin' hard, that ole Bill doesn't push the wrong pedal or put it in 1 instead of reverse... :rofl: :lol:. BACK UP... BACK UP !!! ... :hair::hair:

    Yup, once we cleared the treeline and she could see down it was bad.
    I ended up pulling over on a shoulder so she could get the panic attack out
    of her. We never made it to the top :(

    Is the Cog Rail any different than a reg train? I don't mean the steep slopes... just the cogs part. Are they perty smooth as it climbs up them or do they make a lot of vibration/clanking, etc? It's an amazing concept, considering how old it is. Has it ever let go and given folks the Premium Ticket ride back down... :whistle::hair:

    I've never ridden the Cog Rail myself. I've climbed Mt Washington 3 times, and driven once. My cousin took his family on the Cog Rail and he reported that his kids and wife were scared on the ride up. They didn't take the ride down. They opted for the shuttle service.
