    I thought I thaw a thaw but think the thaw went through, without thoroughly thawing anything in need of thermal therapy. So we thrash through the thick thoughtless Arctic thrust, and thread through and thrive in its thrill and hope that we thee a thaw thoon.

    Finally warmed up enough today that I could separate the rounds with the maul. Got a little run going and then the sun dropped. Mission accomplished though...should have enough room to bring another load home now.

    4 or 5 in the heap, 6 or 7 on the splitter terrace. hoping to get another 10-15 home this winter but we'll see how it goes.

    Im in chicago...theyve got a bunch of 89s on the buildings downtown for some reason tonight. Drove through a little lake effect off michigan on the way here but not much.

    Heating degree days would be even better. The four-year average for my closest weather station, with a base temperature of 65F, is 5672 heating degree days per year.
