I got stihl partner husky poulan echo signs. Plus many others. I only grab them if they have a saw on them. If just words I pass on them.

You guys are LUCKY with all that space! I have about a 2' by 2' space to do everything in, otherwise I'm outside! My house is on stilts, no gee-rodge and no basement! I just have a little space in my burner room which thankfully doesn't run to often anymore!

Here's my workshop as pictured as I came home from work today - no clean up and sorry for the beer cans and bottles (I swear it wasn't all from one day!). Shop is in the barn. Lower level is the saw shop and any mechanical work area. Top loft is wood shop. Share space with 5 cord of the winter's wood and some feathered friends that keep my breakfast fresh! Cheers!

Dexter, I have a basement storage room too, well a couple of rooms but here is one. And where I used to park my bike in the spare room that we only use for family get togethers. . Yes, my wife still says I have a problem. I say she is weak and gives up too easily.

Nope dont even try anymore. Tried my hand at it but I couldnt get the results I was used to from people I know. It was better me just tell them what I wanted and fork over the $60-$150
I only had redneck ways to do things. No lathes, mills etc. Good enough for firewood cutter but not good enough for a real woods ported gtg race saw. You know like a top 3 saw.

Dont even care now and not even worth my time anymore. The wood hasnt even complained one bit it takes me 3 seconds longer to get through a cut now.

That's a cool old barn NH_Wood! Nice and tidy. I bet having the firewood stored in there sure makes it nice! Thanks for sharing.

I used to have my crap all over the place until the barn was put up. I'll have to take a pic of my old bench in my 10x10 shed. I had stuff in there, in the garage, in the basement; It was ridiculous. The barn has been the best thing I've ever done.

I don't really have a "workbench" only a washer and dryer. For sharpening I use a Timberline Sharpener because it does not require a vice to hold the bar. In the field I have a stump vice to hold my saw(s) for sharpening with either the Timberline or Stihl duel file. Repairs?? Well they go to the shop; I have neither the proper tools or the knowhow to do major repairs. Storage is to the right of the washer. 2 Stihl weedeaters and a new Stihl 131 pole saw, fuel oil and such. On the on my "workbench" is my new 362 and hanging is my new 461. Thanks Evanrude and others for your kind words - I really love the barn - I'm out there all the time (which my wife is not too thrilled about!). I'd like to have heat (wood stove) at some point, but I don't really want to insulate and cover the walls - I love the rustic rough cut pine - the pine came from logs dropped on my property and I'd hate to not see the original wood and framing. I use a kero bullet heater when it's very cold and it brings it up to 40F or so - fine for working on most of what I do. Also not sure if I want to spend the $ on the install (I have another large outbuilding on the left of the barn - looks the same, just smaller - it has a wood stove, so if I want to work in there, I can - the barn is just much brighter). I can fit 5 cord in the old horse stall - that is pretty much what I burn. Move the wood into the barn in October and it certainly is nice not dealing with snow, ice, rain, etc. on the wood. Thanks again! Cheers!

Nice - you can just toss the powerhead in the washing machine and keep them looking pretty! Cheers!
