couldn't resist posting some pics of the fireplace dressed up for Thanksgiving. Finally got my antique utensils and some of the antique pots and pans I have hung up, just in time for dinner yesterday! Enjoy, and I hope all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day!

This is a big holiday weekend for us here in PA. Deer season starts on Monday, and I'll be taking my youngest son out for a chance at his first buck! I can't even begin to tell you how exciting that is for me!!

Looks absolutely stunning Scott. Stove looks grand as well as those antique utensils.

I hope you and your son bag a deer. This will be one of those father son moments the both of you will NEVER forget. Best of luck, get back home safe and sit in front of that stove.

Thanks Jeff. And yes, the room is officially done.......almost......
still have to purchase and install my 5.1 surround sound system. I wired the ceilings and walls for it, just waiting on some extra money after Christmas to do it!

The Sharps are getting great reviews and the specialize in large flat screens. Best Buy is running some special deals on them now. My daughter works for a company that supports their online presents and she says the only other competitor in that space is Samsung. But take a look at the rave reviews the Sharps get on BB or Amazon.

    Here's a link.

Scotty looks beautiful. As does all your work! Love the look, feel, and warmth of your home brother! Makes one feel invited to come right in and have a seat by the fire ;)

We bought the 65" Sharp Aquos (LED Smart TV) last Christmas. Was one of more expensive units there, but the pic quality is amazing and makes the money feel well spent

There are 2 different types of LED. There is side lit LED (cheaper LED models) and then there is Back lit LED (more $$ but pic quality is phenomenal).

Sorry for the rant, beautiful pics Scotty! Absolutely beautiful!!

Looks really great all dressed up for the season. I hope, I hope, I hope you and the boy drop a nice one. I still remember my youngest's first deer. Also remember the one that got away on his first muzzleloader hunt. I came down to him after driving out a patch of woods and hearing him shoot.....all that was there was a patch of hair. Not sure if he shot under or over but grazed the hair off and no deer. Good times and memories.

Well, I would hope. It took him forever to finish that room... Like 10 years or something. :D
