kids should pay for their own college, helping out with books or matching a bit I can see if they are good students.
I have far too many friends that I grew up with that went to school on their folks dime and are scraping by with a temp agency, or some other deadend mid manager gig

I paid my way through college. I will help but the burden is on them. Character builder.

Throwing illegal house parties and working in a warehouse on weekend and nights to pay my way through college built my character.

I paid for mine. Had to borrow a little each semester with student loans. But it didn't take long to pay for three years the first time I went to school. I went to a community college, then a state college. And did not live on either campus. I think after three years I only had about $6000 in debt. Not bad. o_OTough to do that today.

    he'll be learning how to
Lots of kids obtain a degree without parents paying. Takes a bit longer because they work, but absolutely attainable!!

Hey Boston. Maybe you can use this to clear the rails and get the T moving again above ground

I have to deliver a load of wood the the old timer neighbors this evening. Supposed to have negative 20 something windchill by then.

After that I have to measure for trim in the LR and make a shopping list.

Good day, 13 degrees and falling to -4 by tonight. Another inch of snow fell last night, not enough to fool with.
Gonna' take Hippie Bob some firewood and re-split and re-stack some wood in the shed. I'm thinking 3 sliding doors across the front of my shed would be much more better than the one 8 footer I have now. Installing at least one more door would be a big help, the shed is 25' wide and I centered the 8' door in the middle.

Just brought some more wood to the load-in hatch after bucketing out a wide path to the woodshed from the drive. My best bud has been outa work for 12 weeks now and he just told me he was buying Bio bricks cause he was outa wood. Something just wrong about that... He'll be here this afternoon... gonna throw a load of wood in his truck.

A beautiful day here, sunny and about 20. Nice!
