I rather enjoy the free coffee at work....

Other than that I Keurig. Most are not very good. But there is a brand that uses recycled stuff for the cup that I enjoy. And it is one of the cheaper options. :coffee:

Eating some pickled food should have been on my new years resolutions list. I have have been reading up on that, too many benefits to ignore from what I saw.

Chock full o nuts is pretty good. I think I'm off a little on spelling though. I'm a folgers and honey guy usually.

I drink a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar mixed with warm water, honey and coconut oil. Find it refreshing and supposedly good for you, for now.

Little less than that on the honey, however much warm water to fill the coffee cup. I use local honey and organic a.c. vinegar and coconut oil.

I was at the grocery store getting the all important French Vanilla ice cream to accompany an apple pie a neighbor baked for us.... so I grabbed the already ground 8 O'clock regular stuff along with a New England Farms something blend.

The 8 O'Clock is decent, strong for my wife.

I also took the aforementioned advice and cleaned the coffee maker. Given this one is less than a year old, we are sticking with it. The water seems hotter, but that could just be the placebo affect.

I think the search continues. I might just jump in and start with fresh ground beans and just try a pound of this and that to see what we like. If I read correctly, most store beans in the freezer once opened?

My automatic electric drip broke yesterday, had to break out the Melita drip, I can notice a big difference and I like it. I don't think the electric drip was getting the water hot enough and it spits out a little water at a time, with the Melita I pour on just enough water to gets the ground wet, wait a minute and then slowly pour the rest of the water.

Another vote for the Aeropress. If you guys like good strong espresso or french press type coffee, this is the best $25 you'll ever spend. I thought I would use my french press forever, but it's been sidelined by this little thing. Give it a try if you haven't.

8 O'Clock has been up here at A&P in Canada for years and the stores carry the beans so you can grind it whatever way you like and take it home fresh ground. Now we get President's Choice premium dark roast and it is excellent. If you are up here in God's country stop at an Independent Grocers store or ask at any store about President's Choice and they'll point you to one. Good Coffee. $8.99 Canadian for 1kg large can. It's vacuum sealed so can stock a few. Michigan'ers can come across the ditch and get it.

A&P! Wow...it's been quite a few years (decades) since the one we had closed down. Great store.
I remember seeing a lot of arco coffee cans as I was growing up

I'm a Folgers Classic Roast drinker mainly but I usually keep a bag of Eight o'clock around for the evening pot. I use white vinegar full strength through our drip maker then run 3 pots of straight water. I only like the drip makers that brew into a thermal pot because I can't stand a pot that sits on a warmer for any amount of time.

I home roast coffee beans and grind them as needed. Haven't used canned coffee for years.
