Just over a week ago I had to go and post about the great weather we were having 60+ degrees well here is what I got for doing that. A foot of snow and single digit temps.attached a few pics of the snow and the toy I brought with me from Pa years ago. I know this is just a flurry to you guys but here where we get a snow like this maybe once a year it's a disaster. Got home from work last night after driving in this stuff all day and dealing with everyone that can't drive on snow covered roads, had to put the chains and blower on the tractor and got the famous don't know why you didn't have it ready speech they've been calling for this for a couple days. My answer- but this is the first time in a long while they actually got it right.
I'm gonna load my snowblower on the roof of my car and drive south till someone asks me what it is... and thats where i'm moving to!
That blower is sweet. We got 7-8" here. Couldn't help but take a few pics. I hooked up the rear blade to the tractor yesterday. Cows got hay yesterday as well. Nice view from the tractor. Driveway is 3/4 of a mile so it takes a while.
It sure beats a shovel , nice pics you took, no work today so I went to the farm and put some hay out as well, man what a slick mess the snow is this afternoon, the sheds where the hay is are like where I cut wood no flat ground everything on a slope. Doesn't look like you have that problem
the only downside is the weather forecast, it never changes, 82, sunny, 7 mph breeze. Talk about a cake job, weather forecaster in the Caribbean.
I'm not sure I can drive there, but I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas, maybe the ship can drop me off on the way back. Save me a lounge chair. And grab me an umbrella drink!
I have my Daughter, Son -In-Law and Grandkids that just moved from St. Johns, Newfoundland to Lynchburg,VA. They kept sending me photos of them in shirt sleeves and 65 degree temps. The Grandkids kept saying that's isn't WINTER HERE. Well they finally got their wishes.
