Happy Monday, Friends!!! That's right...time to buckle down and work towards another weekend. More cold this week here in the Midwest....sub-zero a night or two. But that doesn't bother us because we're FIREWOOD HOARDERS!!! Keep them burning clean and hot and make a great week of it folks!!
I ARRIVED AT MY SHOP AT 0530, STILL A GOOD BED OF COALS IN THE FISHER WOOD STOVE. IT'S 25 DEGREES OUT, I HAVE TO CHANGE THE OIL IN MY WIFE'S CAMRY AND THEN I'M FREE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY. I NOTICED SOME GOOD PICKINS AT THE NORTH WOOD LOT. You all stay warm today.
The wife and I have the day off! Going to the Depot to get some grout, gotta clear the driveway and bring in some wood. I've been really nice to my wife this morning, she's going to cut my hair soon, I don't need a revenge cut.
Way to cold for me! I'm pigging down in Belmont area and there isn't any wind breaks! This is one cold place, everything has been stripped around me and it is cold. The valves are all tight and there ice that needs picked out in every launcher. I'm already ready for this day to be over.
There was a recent news report out about how some kids that did poorly in school got bad haircuts from the local barber as a form of punishment. Hope she didnt see that
So far so good on the happy Monday part. It's a holiday in the states so most government services are closed. I'm off to snowblow my moms place out when it gets above 10. Doing my tax return this morning.
Too cold for the heat pump here in the office ( -8 ) this morning so we're getting out the backup electric space heaters. This is an all electric building. I hate electric heat. A lot of my patients are canceling for the day anyhow because of the bitter cold, one of the inherent problems of being in a geriatric speciality.
Just above freezing here. Sent Campinspecter out to go firewood cutting. got the meat pie ready for lunch and then off to work I go. Should be a sunny clear day here. Happy Monday!!!
Mondays are great!...especially when you have the day off. Planning to re-load the wood rack and stay warm
Why are you yelling? That's a pretty full schedule, one oil change and you're done!! 99lbs. has the day off and mentioned it was such a good feeling Sunday night knowing that Monday wasn't a work day! She made out a honey-do list and I got a closet re-lined, bathroom ready for paint, vacuum fixed, drove her for haircut appt., and finishing with couples dance lessons tonight.
It's a holiday?!? Dang, missed another one because of retirement. Well, everyone enjoy your holiday if possible, and have a safe week.
