I've only been here a few months myself but this my go to site now. So laid back and informative. No feeling of trying to "one up" a person or putting them down. Best site and forums I go to.
I've been here since the beginning. My only regret is that we are all so spread out because I believe it would be one awesome time around the camp fire if that was possible................
I've been here only a few months, but I'm never leaving! I love the easy-going atmosphere, the absolutely great information, the range of personalities, and the high level of respect among the members. Forums and sites like this are hard to find. A hugh thanks to Scotty and all the founders who make this site happen! BTW, there exists a very similar site for elk chasers, err hunters - elknutforums.com. It's a friendly and highly informative site.
Guys, I've said it dozens of times but it's worth mentioning from time to time, YOU, THE MEMBERS, make this site what it is. And let's not overlook all of the work that Grizzly Adam and the other staff do here. I liken this place to a well-built pocket watch.....lots of small, intricate parts that come together to make an amazing machine. Keep it up, guys and gals! I'm proud to call you all my firewood family!
At this point I would like to take credit for something.....but I just figured out I really don't have anything to take credit for! Heck I don't even know if I could wind that pocket watch right without breaking it!
