    I made some more. I have three 2" and two 1-7/8" if someone wants to use 40° k&n.

    UHMW is what I got. Could go with 1/8" and a few washers for 460.

    Did you do it to keep the area around the carb clean? Or was it to just take up space because the 460 has about 5/8" of stud that isn't threaded? Or both :)

    Keep carb box clean Mostly. That taking up space is a plus.

    I bought it that thick in case the carb box was sunk in past the flange
