I still haven't fired mine up yet. I've been in smaller wood and figured it would be overkill so im waiting till I get to the big stuff then I will break it out.

I did have one saw go out of service today it needs some carb adjustments. Ran fine last week I didn't drain the gas because I knew I was going to be using it and today ran like crap with a high idle I did switch over to synthetic oil mix starting today not sure if that caused it. I put regular orange bottle mix back in it and it did the same with it too

I've been using nothing but premixed 92 to 95 octaine fuel in my saws for about a year now. It ain't cheep but neither is fixing a gunked up saw. I'm no Mr. Fix it, I gotta pay to get it fixed.

I did find a place in Cincinnati that sells pure 91 octaine gas, no nothing in it. I just haven't gone there yet, only talked to them about it. If you want, some the after the snow melts sometime we could ride over there together and get a few gallons for ourselves. :handshake:

Whereabouts in Cincy is it. I guess that's what I'm going to have to do. Im really good about emptying the gas out if not going to be used for a while. But I figured four or five days wouldn't hurt it I always add stabil to the gas too. I guess I figured wrong.

It literally ran great the last time I used it five days ago. Cleaned it put it up got it out today started it and the chain was moving and idled high. Real high rpms what little I ran it. Thought ok I did switch to synthetic mix today was the first running using it. Figured it was that still had some fresh orange bottle gas. Emptied saw put reg mix back in did a little better but still not right

I'm not a mech well at least on saws Im not I do the regular maintainence but I don't have a clue how to adjust a carb on a saw which is why I got the 441 cm so I don't have too. I guess I'll be heading to cottinghams tomorrow to have them do it.

The place is on Bridgetown Road. When I get back to my computer I'll send you the information on the place.

As for going to cottinham tomorrow, you better follow a snow plow! 6 to 10 inches of snow tomorrow!
