No worse than three fourths of Craigslist, and more rational than playing the lottery.

White Lake is not that bad of an area. A lot better than the north end of Flint

No different than beat up farm bosses for $350-400!!! I see that all the time. The farm boss on sale was always $399 and many times has a case with it!!! Even the 291 is barely more than that!!

$625 is about what a few dealers sell for.

Setting prices is a fun way to think about economics. How much is the practical utility of the item really worth? How much is a customer willing to pay for a relatively easy and convenient transaction? What's the dollar value of a buying from a seller with a good reputation? How much is fetishistic obsession with a particular model or the story of a particular object? How much is a seller willing to give up for a quick, low-effort sale? Those all seem to be very functional bases on which to set prices. And yet many sellers seem to instead think in terms like, How much did I pay for this? How can I pass the cost of my mistake on to someone else? Or even, Maybe I can find an idiot with money!

    Jon,

I owe you a beer if I ever run into you!

I saw your post here, contacted the guy and picked the saw up this morning.

Started right up, idled well and 4 stroked on full throttle. Original bar and chain.

I pretty jacked up about it too..... I have been looking for a 70 cc saw for a while now and glad to have this one.
I need to figure out if it's a 12mm or 10mm wrist pin now. If anyone can tell from the serial number it's 150243768. Top cooling fins are not angled but run up and down.

Yea, I think Dex has a cousin that lives in Detroit, that is not on the forums. He needed to liquidate some saws :p

I have only seen minty like that from a few people.

$650!! Way more than that.....:D No, I'm keeping it

Thanks everybody for the kind words, I am really jacked up about it... i have been going over it more closely now that I'm home in bed with it, and I think this saw is basically unused. I don't think its been cleaned up real well, it just doesnt appear to me that it was ever used more than a few times. The chain looks to me like its never been sharpened, the bar is perfect, there's almost no wear or grease anywhere I can find.... Makes me a little afraid to scrape it up now....:hair:, I'll get over that though......

And thanks to Maulhead who confirmed it was a 12mm.
