Whats that dark grey spot on the flywheel side of the side wall on the intake close to the cylinder. Looks like the intake got real thin there and you filled the hole with JB

Dont have a clue. Something in the metal that was harder than the aluminum around it that polished out shiny compared to everything around it. Its not jb weld. I didnt take enough out to get close to the outer wall

Definetly not. I didnt widen the port at all so that spot is almost where factory was. I usually take out way more than I did on this one. I didnt hardly widen the intake or exhaust

Definetly not. I use a light touch with a double cut burr for final finishing and that spot was harder than the aluminum around it and the lighter the touch on that spot it just got shinier than the aluminum around it. Jb weld wont polish!! Lol! Almost like nikasil got on it

That looks like a small air pocket in the casting to me?

Its an non metallic inclusion. Typical for any castings. Not always visible.

1128 hybrid is my favorite firewood saw

What does that mean squarefile? Is it aluminum? Seems much harder. Burr just didnt want to cut it but just shined it

It can be anything of different material. Usually its pieces of filters, but will have honey comb shape. Could also be sand which is bad but picks out easy.

Its considered non metallic. If it were me, I would pick at it. If firm leave it. If loose dig it out and fill with the silly puddy
