I didn't think some had a clue what they were. I figured you had seen them before.

Mine arrived today. The Green Weenie foam filter & Belray aerosol tacky oil should arrive from Oregon in a couple days.

The saw sounds even meaner now, though it was no slouch before obviously. :dex: Gonna keep the original factory cover & filter, they're getting scarce now I've heard.Even though I could probably sell for $35-40 easily.

    Thanks again!!! :handshake:

No worries though. My P.O. sucks.

Thanks SquareFile. I know it's a quality part and worth the wait.

I don't know. Center to center bolt holes on these are 1.375" with a bore of .900"

Measure yours and let me know

Filter & oil arrived today. you can either spray a fair amount on the filter, drop it in a Ziploc bag & squeeze the chit outta it for a few seconds to get the filter all covered. But I also had good luck spraying some directly on the filter after the hose clamp was tightened down. There's less waste that way too.

Shaun I want one. I think it will fit a 288 pattern as well.

Oh yeah. I've got a 7900 oiler to pull apart and send you if that's easier to copy than me measuring the control bolt :D

I have a guy sending me a 288 elbow soon. I think the bore is larger with studs further apart. And the studs may not be 180ยบ degrees apart. Can't rememeber if its those or 394. Once I recieve it I'll probably make a bunch of those. They'll fit many saws.
