Sorry to hear that my friend :( We had our last dog Ginger cremated too, the company was awesome ,we got her ashes back in a nice box with a beautiful card and buried her in her favorite spot that she liked to lay in the back yard.

So very sorry to hear of losing your lil buddy. Take solace knowing you gave him your best while you had him. As the sign says in our family room, "Dogs are Kids with fur".

He never has to turn around on the trail he's walking on now, because he knows you'll always be behind him.

Sorry for your loss WS. We also have 2 dogs and know full well how they attach to us and are a part of the family. I also know what being heartbroken feels like when a 4 legged has met his time here. I'm glad you treated him well and cared for him as part of the family, dogs do know and they respond to that.

Not trying to hijack your thread Well Seasoned but I thought one sad thread at a time would be enough.

The dog I referred to earlier in this thread didn't make it to Saturday. We put him on his favorite place to lay, the back of the couch. He died a few hours ago. :tears:

    Good night Caeser.

It's so sad to see them suffer. You feel so helpless knowing that they do everything they can to hide their pain and when you do see their pain, you know it's really bad. Downright heartwrenching.
