I'm admittedly not a Harley guy, but I am a bike guy. I've never heard of that place, and they do sport bike stuff too. There's gotta be a place closer to Massachusetts than Wisconsin? Maybe buy their kit and have a local build and install it? Sounds like a fun garage project to me.:) Harleys are easy motors to work on.

Harleys are easy to work on because they NEED to be worked on.

Been nailing down floor for the past 13 or so hours. I feel like somebody wore me out with a Maglite.

Lot's of ways to do a build like this, and I do some of my own work when I can. But these guys have a service reputation that is beyond reproach and it's a very reasonable install and they do a "magic dust" dyno that makes a huge difference.
    Nice post.

If you are hauling it out yourself, might as well stop in Milwaukee, hit the Harley museum, see the calatrava, get some fresh or fried cheese curds, visit the ariens plant in brillion(lol), and other things.

Sounds like a great trip Steve

I spoke with my dad last night. He is a few minutes north of Boston and has been pummeled by the snow but got a bit of a break this week by getting only a foot. ( Its odd to be thinking of a foot as "only" but that's where we are all at now around here too) As he is housebound by the stroke last March, my 2 brothers and BIL have had the snow clearing duties at his house. My being 90+ minutes away and no one to help out cleaning up here plus having to work though and during all of these storms has kept me out of the equation there.

Someone mentioned at work yesterday that "just think, only 3 years ago it was 80 degrees in March". I replied-That would make one heck of a flood this year :hair:

Day off today! I am going to sit down and get the bills done, and throughout the day work on getting the laundry through washer and dryer and up on the bed for my wife. But I WILL do some things I like to do today! That will include running my tractor for sure. Running my Echo and cutting some logs for sure. And moving some Ash firewood in to the basement to get me through the next 6-7 cold days and nights. That will take up most of the day. Around lunch break I will bring the required ingredients to my parents and give my Mom any help she may need to put together a homemade Lasagna for our dinner with them tonight. My wife made homemade cocoanut cream pie and homemade chocolate pie. The ladies are spoiling me today! It will be a good day. :)

This is exactly why you find someone who knows what they are doing:), everybody thinks they can do it. I do the same with my old BMW, it goes to a trusted friend outside Philly.

The view from the office desk while doing the bills this morning. Nothing like living in the country, and being surrounded by trees!

Good late morning, nice outside with a chance of snow/rain mix tonight and continuing with falling temps over the next few days.
Burned some 2 cycle mix yesterday cutting some Mulberry for my neighbor, WTF Buck.
A guy I work with had a couple poplar trees cut down, had the tree guys leave 'em lay in his yard to save some money. I told him I'd be over to take a truck load or 2 but "Don't quit trying to give them away!!"

It's a ways off but I've seen some weather maps that are calling for some freezing rain for the Boston area, that would really suck.

If I were down there Zap... I'd stop everything... and get any and all roofs cleared of snow and water channel runoffs going away from buildings cleared too. Wow. Crazy, crazy, crazy... city public works crews must be insane. Not only do they have impossible mountains of snow to get rid of... but the public screaming at em to go faster... :hair:
