Wanted! square files

I have been searching everywhere . hopefully soon I will get lucky !! And score some of these gems !!

 

Thanks for the help in my search for these files but I really do not want to bother people I really don't know .

just a thought.
I was a toolmaker and we used Nicholson files, excellent quality, maybe a search of their website will produce something similar. I have every shape and size imaginable. square, round, oval, triangular, curved, yes curved, teeth on one side and not the other, teeth on faces sides smooth, etc etc..

 

I was told on another site , I know people with them but they won't sell to you .

grainger possibly?? post a pic of a file if possible. I have a company here in Ohio and might be able to get them to sell to me. if you guys want them that bad I will do what I can to help.

Dennis won't part with them. He's using them for bike saw chains mostly and those are almost as much as a new 461.

 

For a hack like me, Save Edge works fine.

I'm happy if they cut straight.

 

are you filing normal chain to conform to square cut , notice the round curve on bottom of cutter?

 

That's just a 3/16" round file to clean the gullet after

If anyone locates a batch of Oberg's, We'd be wise to get them all...
I got a couple Valorbe files I'm gonna try on the next chain I work over..
Till then, it's the Save Edges..
