What do you pellet heads think about this?

Gas did you turn the thermostat up so it was calling for heat? I don't have a thermo on mine so I'm not exactly sure how the stove reacts to it.

 

Did you wait for all the lights to go out after setting the stove to On-Off? Remember to raise the stat temp above the room temp?

 

I had waited until the lower three lights went out. The stat was/is definitely calling for heat.

I am down here now and I had left it unplugged overnight. So I plugged it in, set it to on off and waited till all lights went out. Turned thermostat up higher to 72. Pushed the on button. Nothing.

 

Gas you might want to jump the thermostat wires and see if the stove turns on....

 

Right. I will do that now. Do you think I may have blown a fuse some how? But the lights come on. Just nothing happens. And it was coming on before. All the time until yesterday. So it doesn't seem like the thermo is the problem now. It is like something is keeping it from turning on. Sensor? I checked the chimney last night. Clear. Pulled the plug at bottom. Some ash came out. But it is clear.

 

Since you have light fuse isn't blown...man, IDK......unless when you reset the board something went wacky...I'm thinking probably stat though

I took the thermostat apart and twisted the wires together and the stove turned right on. Now. The stat is brand fricking new! So why the frick would it not have been calling for heat? I am adding a picture of back of stat now. Now, what position should these two tiny, tiny switches be in? Hmmm. Thought I had them in the right position! Maybe not! Happy/mad. Happy/mad. Happy/mad. Oh. Ya. It's Thanksgiving! HAPPY!

So there is the pic of the stat. All I can figure is I had those two little switches in the wrong position.

 

lol....smart? Maybe smart azz! Wish I could help with the stat but I don't use one. I'm sure someone will chime in but at least you have heat now....

 

So the whole time the stove would have been in low. WTF! Maybe now we will see what this baby can do! Maybe.

 

What position did you have them in?

 

Stove just went into shut down mode. I guess I shouldn't have put the wires back in the stat and moved those two little tiny tiny switches over thinking that was it! UUUGGHH!

 

So I had them both to the left position before. Now I put them both to the right. Thinking I had them in wrong position. Looks like one should be to the right and one to the left. Did I say UUUGGGHHH loud enough? Is that how you spell that?

So what system type on the chart? It has to be the second one down or the fourth one down. I've been through 1 & 3. LOFL

 

Gas...hold up...I just looked, I'm not a 100% sure that stat is compatible with these stoves. You need a millivolt stat for these....is that a 24v stat?
