Good morning filling the bins using the Suzuki. Last 2 years, I plowed all around the house and used the tractor bucket to carry from the shed to the Bilco. 30" base of soft powder snow, with deeper drifts... it was a good excuse to use the tank. I'd used the box to haul firewood at the cabin before, but this was the first time here at home. Each box load was about the same amount of wood I'd put in the bucket. Here's pics... The deep snow did a good job tipping the front down so loading was easy. Unloading was easy too because of the "hole" I could drive down into. 3 loads... This was the first time I'd been out in the snow enjoying it instead of swearing at it. Seemed good...
Nope, it didn't seem to make much difference in the soft snow. I was surprised that the box could hold as much weight/wood as the bucket did. Good to know. Man, is it nice to not be plowing all around the house too, with this much snow.
Careful there Stinny...easy does it...not too close...or you'll end up with a Suzuki in the basement!
Hehehe... so, my idea of slamming on the brakes and flippin' the loads into the bin? Not so good? I better wear my chaps and helmet if I try it...
I don't even....... AWESOME!!!! Looks much faster than my method. Which involves shoveling out a path through the 30+" snow pack to get to my next stack. And it needs to be done before the deep freeze arrives this weekend, because I'll be running out of wood on the porch just about then.
Stinny, I know we've talked about this before but my memory banks have a short in them. I'm curious about the steering with the tracks. And do you have power steering on the atv?
