I looked for information I saw recently on FHC about EPA stove purchases this year being used as a write off.
anyone have a link or info on this?

    Thanks for the link.
And yes, we just got another 20" today. We were expecting not much more than 14 and BAM, 20" shows up.
I just got in from shoveling one of my flat roofs, which had 4 ft on it!
I have no idea where the snow will go on the next storm. I feel sorry for my neighbor but I had to give his front yard some extra this time around.

Thanks for the thread My IS heats my home and for the link bocefus78 ! I kept getting lost in the fine print and finally realized today I don't do our taxes anymore !!

I sent the receipts for the new pellet stove, new woodstove insert, and pipe materials to hubby that will forward to the professional that now does our taxes.

Glad you got your answer IS......300.00 max credit on stoves and 500 lifetime on any energy upgrades. I found out last week from my accountant that the credits had expired but they reinstated them in Dec. and made them retro for the entire year....good for any that need them. I got mine last year and then a little for insulation this year.
