Sorry for the lousy picture again y'all..................but this is the best view of this chimney. It's another house in my neighborhood.

Yes, the chimney exits the garage from the top sash of a double hung window. What you don't see from the crappy picture is that the "T" is supported with what looks like 2 metal rods down to the sill and that there is a "negative" pitch to the thimble piping!!!!:loco: :picard:

Looks like the pipe is hugging the fascia as well.
    Be afraid, be very afraid.

I think it's the same "SuperVent" chimney pipe from Menards that I have on my stove based on the chimney cap.......................it's just the install that's mind boggling!!!!!:picard:

Yep, it's always nice to have "fresh" firewood available.
This is like "Where's Waldo", except we'll call this "What's Wrongo".

How about the gas powered boat motor's proximity to the inevitable garage fire.

Although, the boat being there would make for easy bottom up cleaning.
Could be, this isn't as bad as we're thinkin'.........nah.

Safe is such a relative thought process.
If, that is, there's a thought process involved.

This neighborhood that I live in Dennis is "unincorporated".

So unless someone calls on you "specifically'................ain't no "code enforcement" Nazis running around here!!!

    Which is good IMHO!!!!!!

This specific install should be between the home owner and his insurance company if something ever should happen IMHO!!

I just don't understand how someone "could, or actually would" think this is SAFE and/or even acceptable!!!!

JFYI y'all..........................there's a couple other chimneys I plan on taking pix of for y'all!!!

One of them I think runs a "cat stove" because..................even though he's only "1 year ahead at best" based on his yearly wood procurement practices........... his chimney looks stellar.....................looks better than mine!!!

The other is the house next to one of my best Buds...................he's always got a ploom of white smoke falling out of his 9ft. chimney with the creosote staining the pipe/collar/flashing/shingles, etc.!!! Need I say more???

"Stay logged in here FWH folks for more mind boggling pictures of, MightyWhitey's wood burning neighbors!!!":D:cool:
