Eab killed ash as usual. Those little green monsters are worthless.

In Boston, zap! Haha. We got all of ours last winter. We literally doubled our average snowfall so I didn't expect much this year. The Plow truck has left the house 2 times all winter. Ive salted a few times, but not much. Yep, that means the wallet is empty.

I'm hearing we have the coldest weather of the year moving in late this week, glad I saved that Ironwood.

Subject:Empty Wallet; I thought that was the norm!

Good to get the ash. Great firewood. We'll make use of it as long as possible. But when splitting, rather than on the knees, I like to be on the backside. I put the splitter so the wood is on my left and bring lots of the wood to me with a pickeroon.

Thanks prell. Notice that as we cut in winter, I just sort of stack it as I am unloading the trailer. This way, the splitter comes out only once per year. It works for us.

That guy splitting isn't me. He works for free so I just let him do it his way haha. He went home with a truckload too so I guess he isn't totally free. It was the stuff that was too long for my insert.
