We should be able to support quite a few mobile apps now that we own this site/software. Tapatalk IS on the short list for sure.

i hope we can get the app sooner than later. this thing is a huge pain on the phone. its slow on mine , granted i dont have a great high dollar pgone. but its a pain, no auto correct, hard to insert the cursor into the reply and is slow. The full site is much moee movile friendly than others but still a pain. heck id pay for another app just to buck this site dormat.

Still in progress, honestly I'm getting used to using the web version but we understand that it doesn't work equally well on everybody's phones. I'm going to look into our options, I like tapatalk but it's not the only game in town.

As a forester in the woods away from towns and living in a town of 100 I battlesignal issues. Most times I have half bars of 3g or less . Most times I have 2 bars or less times no bars. So the app speeds up loading and I honestly like and can navigate faster with it.

I'm sure I can use the browser ok, the screen on the phone is just to small for my old eye balls, even with my bifocals :)

Try the browser HD Rock. I have an iPhone 5 and use it alot here on the site. The software will adjust the forum's appearance to the screen width of the device automatically.

Sometimes I wish for an app too. Then I do a little homework on whats involved with security, advertising, etc. and that thought goes right out the window.

We have a cheapo android and an iPad HD. The android is a piece of junk. It barely runs the site! It's technically got more CPU than our iPad but the browser sucks. The iPad on the other hand seems to work very well and I use it for almost everything now. In other words don't go cheap on the android tablet if you buy android spend the money on something like the galaxy tab 7 or 10. Those work very well. The problem is android is the os but they don't make the tablet so cheap is literally junk for android.

I use the desktop format on the tablet, and it works well. You can switch views from desktop to mobile

Desktop version would be the same as your home pc. Mobile version would be on a phone or small device. If you google or type in your browser firewoodhoardersclub.com, click on it,you'll probably get the home page, than go to forums, It should look similar to your home pc version. If it does not, than it is probably a mobile version, and may give you an option on the bottom to choose between the two. My tablet gives me that option, but my phone does not.

I have a cheapo android phone. The site runs slow on it. But for the ease and potability I am always on my phone. I wish we have an app too. It works so much better in low signal areas I am in than the web browser. At home its still faster for me to use an app but site is OK, when I use it during the day out n about the site is terrible due to the slow loading. An app is less busy and therefore loads faster. I live and work on, exteeamly rural areas.
