I got some money to make in the field too, kinda why I'm concerned.
I've lost 4 days of work to the last 2 storms in the last two weeks
    alone.

Ugh! I hope you get some good days to work out there IS. What type of work you doing? Firewood stuff? Or other money making stuff?

If the snow gets too much deeper here I will be done getting around with the tractor. Unless I plow the roads to where I want to work. But I doubt I will keep working in it if the snow gets much deeper. I have other things to do as well.

I used to snow plow when I was younger and had only 1 full time job and maybe a part time job. Now that I have 2 full time jobs I can't do that anymore. I miss it, and the money. BUT....
My work is outdoors in construction right now, the snow is killing us.
And theres nothing happening with firewood here, the 3' of snow has put a clamp on that too.

Today was a get going early day. I was out the door at 5:30 to pick up my father and take him to Syracuse to an eye doctor appointment. Roads were kinda slick and crappy on the way down, but not too bad. By the time were coming back only two hours later the boys had been through with the plows and scraped everything down and salted the chit out of the road. It was nice and clear pavement. We had to follow three of them all lined up across the road with wing plows out on both sides of the road. There was no getting around them. That went for about 15 miles at 35mph. Oh well, sat back and BSed with my dad and enjoyed the drive. Pretty woods with everything covered in snow!

The condo/townhouse job or a different one? Then again are the roads even passable to get to them?

Well, I have toned it down quite a bit. Earlier today I was dropping F-bombs when the phone wouldn't stop ringing and nothig was getting done. I was having a moment. :)

Went out to the wood stack in the dark to grab some hedge got it schleped all the way to the house and realized it was oak. Oh well...just gonna have to load up later and reload early.

Day off tomorrow. ..should have the house 100% ready For hardwood. Getting everything prepped has had a lot of unforeseen problems. Hoping to start laying floor next week between 2 road trips.

Time for a beer or two.

Dam, we are getting more snow than what I thought we were going to. Light, fluffy stuff. Just enough to be a P.I.A. Had to go out and shovel for a while.

    I tired now.[IMG]

I pulled all the nails and screws and made a sled for my router and took everything down with a 3/4 straight bit. I saw somebody do this to level a woodworking bench a while back and it worked pretty good.

There's another major crown down the center of the hall where the main support beam runs. Since the floor will run parallel to it it shouldn't cause any issues but will be slightly visible. It is staying. Major work to correct and I'm OK with a little hump...should be able to shim some of it out.
