Raining really hard here. The wind is tossing the trees back and forth. Soggy ground, high winds usually means a lot of trees will fall over. Flood warnings streaming across the tv.
Dogs are restless because they can't go out to play.

Well, I'm kinda embarrassed to post this now :emb:

It's no Bobcat but not everyone can afford a 4x4 Bobcat, can they?

Everything has calmed down. Lots of rain. Typical overflowing of drains etc. No problems noted yet here. On our way in town, we saw a tree service dealing with a downed tree in a housing development.
I went to the butcher shop and bought bones for the dogs. That has kept them busy for the rest of the day. I'll get them out tomorrow for some good playtime.

We just had that crap here too! Still blowing, the rain has slacked off, we got about two+ inches. We are better off them some of the poor folks in the mid states:eek:, my prayers go out to them. We didn't get nothing compaired to what was predicted.

LOL. One nice thing about this machine is the whole unit is built for construction. So the backhoe is more powerful than the one I had. I have already stuck the tires enough where I could not get out. Real slick mud here when it gets wet. But with this backhoe you can plant the front bucket and then lift the whole machine up with the backhoe and set yourself off to the side, out of the ruts. And you can put yourself in nuetral and pull yourself out! Saaaa weeeet!
