Just enough snow to hit the State Park and the trails on our property, hopefully we get the 3-6 inches in the next couple of days.

Beautiful thewoodlands. Glad you can get out there. Looks like some snow and more cold coming in again.

We hit the State Park and the county trail (8E) after coming back on 8E we hit our property, we only put on 24 miles.

The first three pictures are from 8E and the rest are from our property.

After getting everything done I headed out on a small ride (20 miles) on the same trails I've been riding and ours.

They're calling for another 1-3 tonight with another 5-8 tomorrow and part of Tuesday, that would make the county trails much better.

We want to head out for a longer ride but we'll have to do some planning because there are some trails the loggers are on that are still open to sleds and they have other trails that are shut down because of logging.

We are right on the line of 3"-6" & 6"-10" So ill predict 6". The colder it is will up the snow amounts, meaning less ice, which could total .25"

I may be plowing in the rain tomorrow before I leave for work. Dont need a thick crust of ice to mess with at 6pm after work tomorrow. Temps expected to plumet.

Stay safe, we all hate the ice.

The colds been locked in up here for what seems like two months but the end is near.

We ended up with around 5" of wet heavy chit. Then the rain came and the entire area is a pooling water nightmare. Our walkway to the house is under water roughly 4" deep with snow.

Not sure how much we got. Well over a foot. Maybe 18 inches. Not going to work till the plow truck comes thru. The snowblowing I did yesterday is all gone with the drifts. Ugh! I did take my daughter to the grocery store on a sled to get beer and pop yesterday.

That sucks getting the rain after the snow, I've plowed out about 5 inches of water after we had something like that last year.

I think we received 6 inches overnight, the good thing is it's the fluffy snow. The roads are like chit this way.

It's getting colder here now, so the snow is powdery and not nearly as wet. Thanks for sharing the pics too......

We've only been doing short trips but that will change after this snow, looks like we already have another 6-7 inches from last night through today which will make the trails much better.

Send more snow........chit, not even the cold bothers me on the sled.

It's time I pack the trails down again, this should be fun.

I'll leave the photo taker home, Overkill informed me last night I'm over my quota. :hair:

Busting trail today was cold, I hit the state park first (I was the first track in) pic 0720 was yesterday and 0727 was the same area today, in pic 0728 you can see where an black Artic Cat went off the trail up the small hill then back down across the trail (he almost took me out, the bastard even waved) so we'll see each other again since he came off the water which means he should live just a few miles from here, pic 0729 is coming back on county trail 8E, the last two pics are from our property.
