yes we are ww. The way its looking might be around 9.30 ish as its minus 21c right now and I hate waking up chilly.
We've had our stove cooking pretty good the last couple days. I'm still hoping that as usual, the worst of the cold is past. It is just a slow rise in temperatures for the next couple months. But I think February for us sees a 7 degree rise in high temps from the 1st to the 28th.
Dennis, I think for us February is cooling down as Loon is coaling down. It is quite bitterly cold, with more called for.
The daytime temps are not really too bad and all together much better than last year. I think there's only been like 2 days below zero for here at night. Until this past weekend hardly any snow to deal with so , pretty decent.
We've had quite a few below zero nights. Looks like we'll be below average, but as happens every year, the trend is ever warmer.

The past week is been quite cold and more in store, but this winter had been much better than last year - it was very cold and took forever to warm up in the spring. Snow was easy too till the past 10 days - but we've had quite a bit now and will need to borrow the neighbors tractor soon to push back the banks if we get much more. Cheers!
Yeah I have noticed there has been a lot of days up there below zero. 15 up there right now 24 here. You didn't get much snow out of this past storm though did you? Got 8" here
She's in that ball of white there in the front left of the pic....right? Wow, to be able to load for the night that early would be nice, as long as I didn't have to get up at 5 am.
Thanks Drvn. Anything under - 10c/14f dave I have to get up sometime in the night to add to it but when it is normal outside its fine for a good 8 hours. Edit... On work days the stove is run by the dogs for 10 hours and i fill it to the brim when leaving in the AM. House is fine when we get home with a load of coals in the T5 keeping it warmish even when its Minus Holychit out.
