    Are we all ready for the game?


    Ive been out all day, went down to our R/C field for some snow flying today pregame. I should have taken photos, its quite a drive getting in, down a quarter mile on an unpaved, unplowed dirt road... My buddy opened it up with his pickup the other day, and its passable as long as you have a 4x4 if you are careful. Of course I was all excited being my first time attempting it with the truck (and half the reason I got the offroad edition ;) ) and of course I had the first time offroader panic reaction as soon as I would start to drift out of the tire ruts Id start turning sharp and get on the gas and just plow the fronts and dig a hole.

    But I made it in, and then leaving I did it right, real slow in 4 low and just gentle steering to keep momentum and made it out without getting stuck once.

    We had a good time, gave some aerobatic flying demos to a snowmobiler and a couple of x-country skiers who came by. Now I'm back at home, got the stove loaded and time to crack a beer and catch the game!
