What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I'm glad that Aaron Rodgers got the MVP again. Well deserved.

 

Got a fire going in the stove (first thing I did when I got home), dogs all played with, and snow falling I'm too excited about being home to go to bed so I'm uploading our trip pictures to my computer.

I came across a picture we took just for the forum. Shown is a sopadilla tree and me (you have to figure out which is which ). This tree is a real gum tree in which chicle is harvested. The chicle was what was used to make (you guessed it) Chiclet gum.



I'm pointing to a groove the Mayas would cut in the tree to collect the chicle to be sold to companies like Wrigleys to make gum.

Good morning, 35 and not much snow, it was more rain/sleet last night driving home and calling for more of the same today.
Coffee is on and making ready for another 12 1/2 in the workhouse today, hope it goes by quickly!!

9 deg with a slight breeze here. Snow starting tonight and running into Monday night, 8-12 inches expected. Heading to the gym this morn to get a cardio workout, going to my dads for the game later, maybe a nap inbetween. Keep warm.

 

I'll be doing some plowing with the Rhino to and around the stacks, then I'll head down to my neighbors to re-split some wood for him and after I get back will push in more wood for this week.

After that I'll hit the trails on the sled.

 

Why the re-split woods?

 

He receive his wood real late (last fall) for this burning season, so I re-split it so it dries quicker.

 

Our 4-8" turned into 0. None.

It will be colder at his place because he gets the wind unlike our house but I'll take some coffee with some hand warmers.

 

If you buy one P.P., throw a picture up because I need to do some this spring.

 

They were calling for -17c here today but that's changed to -11c gonna do some more splitting also.
