So here I am scrounging in the government woods again. A good load of several year dead red oak. A few small pretty dry dead standing white oaks. Good news is I think there is enough for a decent load tomorrow, maybe not as big as this one but worth coming back for. Oh and I have a few more inches till I am on the bump stops in case you were worried.
Oh wait there is one more wheel barrow load. Maybe this one will set it on the stops...ha Yea right not the Ranger! There is no more room. Now if this were all cut green Yea id be on the axle I will find someplace for it! Maybe one day I will get some helper springs!
Ok , I'm all loaded up and headed back home. Better tuck my light connection up, its only one inch from the ground. Dont want it scraping the road and shorting out on the way home.
You could always put a front hitch on and make/ buy a hitch haul apparatus to even the load out( and haul even more). Lol
Horken now your talking my language! I even have one!. Couldnt do it in summer. Id over heat !! That would be cool to get a receiver welded up front!
It would have side boards! I have a short bed half ton. I just needs to get A battery for it. Its weak and I dont want to get stranded
I'll have to see if I can dig up my old pics of "whitey" the 94 Chevy 2500 with a bed rack and loaded full of wood.
Now that's what I call making the trip worthwhile! But holy smokes, that Ranger is working hard today, heheh. Nice haul.
