How Do Chain Dull???

    Location:
    5 miles South of the "cheddar curtain".
    Will the angle increase or decrease??? This is assuming not hitting anything cutting or grounding the saw.

    On my saw, the angle decreases....................or the point on the cutter wears back faster than the trailing edge. Does that make sense???

    Is this normal?

    Yes that's normal. That corner is the first thing hitting the wood.

    Yup normal. Wood is fairly abrasive in and of itself.

    Especially when your cutting locust. If you ever cut it near dusk, you can actually see little sparks shooting off the chain occasionally.
