Snowing pretty heavy here. Forecast of 8-12 but not supposed to end until sometime tomorrow so I expect it may be more. On top of the 2 feet from Tuesday. More snow Monday with a high of 5. Starting Sat. night-Sunday AM, 6 straight nights below 0 with next Friday AM -20. I may catch up to Wild West in pellet consumption the way things are going.

How did you let that happen? Our local HD seems to always have pellets. Not always the ones I want but usually not junk. They load them in the van for us, or I can get them delivered, but I have to wait for a delivery date.

Just did the leaf blower treatment. It was quite fun today since it is seven degrees and a wind chill of -4. :shiver:

Got up at 8am, did the biweekly cleaning. Well since I am slightly OCD, I cleaned every spec of ash lol. Learned the pot removal and dissasmbled it into 6 pieces. Baffle plates were a nice white ashy color, burn tubes were black ash color. That ash vac is GREAT! No dust anywhere. I cleaned more fines and dust around the pot than ash lol. Not complaining cause I get great heat.

Ohhh, I also cleaned the glass with glass stove top cleaner I had. I read that on here somewhere. Works wonders, I could eat off that glass now.
    Thanks guys for awesome advice!

Well I've got to go out and use the new thrower on the mess we had yesterday and overnight. I'm waiting for at least 15 on the thermometer before I go out and do that job.

Come on, I already did the leaf blower and rechanged the oil in my car. And it's not even 10 degrees out yet.:coffee:

The leaf blower routine takes a lot less time than me doing 400" of driveway, a path to the back (front) deck, one to the chicken coop, and a turnaround. I have the rest of the turnaround to finish but that can wait for a bit while I get warm and have a cup of coffee.

It is doing the job just fine. I do have one adjustment to make and will likely do that when the boss goes to quilt club this coming Thursday. The scraper level needs to be raised a bit, no biggy. Just want to be warm when I do it. Now I've gotten warm and had my coffee time to finish the job then look for something to eat.

There's a joke in here somewhere, pelletheads and leaf/snow blowers.

You might not want to go there wildwest, some of these folks are a bit on the :wacky::loco: :doh: side of things, my boss would say we are way down in the corner cases in the personality square so I'd be careful hanging out with us .
