I got tired of fighting with my splitter every time I had to move it. Picked this little gem up at Harbor Freight for 54 dollars. WAY easier to drag the splitter around than before.
Thats a great idea! And here I am doing exactly what you described, dragging my splitter around by hand. I might look into that, TY
For $54, that is a great tool! Even someone with an ATV/UTV would want one. Much less work if only moving a short distance.
Nice. I've seen them for trailers and such but never thought of using it for the splitter. I just use the atv.
Ryan, what a cool find. I'm tired of dragging the splitter out by hand. That thing would come in real handy.
Its not the highest quality unit I've seen, but for no more than the splitter weighs it works great, and should hold up well enough.
I'm cheap, I built my own out of stuff I had laying around. Old lawn mower handle, bed rail, and a pair of wheels I bought long ago but never used. I park my splitter cross ways in the shed in front of my tractor. It really helps to jockey the splitter into place for storage. After it is in place I turn the handle around and tuck it under the beam.
Excellent. Recognized the mower handle right away. I'm sure my shins would find the support foot on that. They find the hitch ball, corners of the trailer, all sorts of things that hurt.
