Funny, I've seen more. I still haven't done any snow removal.

I did go out and check the vent systems and that was it for being outside today.

I had a nap this afternoon.

That's the thing I have to do to get the 4 foot drift off of my garage roof before it snows again Friday. And Monday.

This has been an odd storm in the sense that Manchester NH got 16 inches and a few miles down the highway Nashua is approaching 30". The snow bands were in rather unusual areas than normal.

I lucked out with maybe 14-16 inches. Not too bad as its a dry/light snow. With the high winds and whiteouts most of the day, driving was a real bad idea.

Well I just got back in from checking the vents for the second time today. I figured I might as well get a start on the walking path to the back door and the weld holding the impeller to its shaft was gonzo. So I hiked up around and shoveled the back (front) door out and then the furnace vent. No fun was had in the endeavor. Looks like I have to get the yard cleaned out and then fix the snow blower. It is always something.

It is just a normal day on the farm. A $59.06 part that is a pita to change out, might as well get a new $90.53 panel to complete the pita job. I really can't complain, I've put it through the torture sessions for almost 8 winters on just gas, oil, a discharge chute cable, and shear pins.

Somewhat, however I need more than 4 feet of powder on my roof before the roof rake comes out.

When I was out checking the vent situation I looked at the roof and it looks like there is not that much that is still up there.

The configuration of my attached garage to the house breeds large drifts. Friday's snow is going to be wet and heavy, so I need to get this stuff off first.

Heineken's going down good watching the battle of New York and my Habs versus Dallas Stars. No chit to shovel, only pellets for the furnace as it's freaking cold outside.

You can come help me. It doesn't matter which way I choose to leave the house in the morning I have a 5 foot drift to get to before I can attempt to unbury my truck.
