I ordered 2 of the same on ......both are not missing any rivets . If you look at the ad....it says combo.....but it never talk about a chain being included at all . I was just happy to get that price on a bar by itself . If they are offering a chain for sure...do you really want it ? Cant be that great of a chain at that price !
When I ordered it did say chain was included. I checked again yesterday before I called them and still said included. I talked to them on the phone and read it to them. He agreed to send two chains. I checked just now, they changed the listing and removed the chain. They must have realized that they were getting the short end of the stick. Regardless of the quality of chain the listing said chain included when I ordered. They are sending them out. But $11 for a bar I'm not complaining.
If you look my all orange one is that way. I didnt say anything because I thought most folks knew already about this. Even the black tip one has the square hole. But glad you posted their info into why they are doing it.
Yeah,they needed to change the description one way or another. Maybe the combo is the bar and sprocket?

I got the order yesterday baars have all the rivets no chains but Gregg said sorry for the confusion listing wasn't updated correctlywhen order was placed is going to send GB evolution II chains like the description said .Going to take a drill bit to the oil holes they need to be opened up a little
Just to show you all worried about the square missing piece showing sprocket in tip is nothing. Just a few bars from the 80's and up. Plus one still using today in oregon pro lites on a trim saw that has been used for years now on many of trim saws. Missing rivet and square area. I am sure I have more on other saws but this is what I spotted in my minute search.
I inquired about chains for my order as you fellas did. They said they are already in the mail... And they were sorry for the confusion. I gotta tell ya... Service like this is hard to come by. They have a customer for life now
