    I often hide things from myself, unintentionally. This is why I own multiples of everything. I have about 15 tape measures now and I can see 3 of them from where I'm sitting. I think my subconscious gave up on trying to hide them. I have a chest of drawers in the spare bedroom filled with tools, tools in the basement and tools out in the garage. I will defeat myself if it's the last thing I do.

    I must be making some semblance of progress in my seemingly never ending battle to keep pens from disappearing.
    My wife has begun asking to use a pen, then telling me she'll give it right back. Then, she does.:dancer:
    I'm winning the battles, but something tells me this is like the "thousand years war".:headbang:
