Just did some hunkering down outside with an appropriately named "Abominable Snowbeer". About 1.5" of fluff on the groun so far. A little bit breezy but otherwise real pleasant. Got the gas grill lit and will be putting on some pork tenderloins soon.

I think you might have a little more time than that. It isn't doing a thing here right now.

I'm concerend about one tree behind the back of the house too. We'll see what the winds decide to do later tonight into tomorrow. More concerned for the neighbors house than mine.

I gave up listening the weather reports for now. It seems too difficult to predict accumulation with the snow bands that will be swinging in from the ocean. They did say between 2" - 4" per hour at the peak. Wind gust 50 to 60 mph is the latest reports. The snow totals are being predicted between 24" -36" but the areas keep shifting. The stove will be earning its' keep the next 24 hours. It is good to have a back up plan, as I know a lot of people that do not.

A good Nor' Eastah this will be. We are ready here.

Exactly! I walked to the mister donut to get the family some breakfast. I don't think mister donut even exists anymore.

They give the storm a name, make predictions and the media blitz puts the wheels in moton.
It could be a dud and they may find an answer for it but in all that they WILL get their ratings

Al Roker gave a name for the storm or the formation or IDK .. Seems like he called it Bimbo Genny or Bozo the clown or BomboGenesis !!! Yeah that's it.
Im in the 3-5 zone here in the belt,,,,,,,, prolly break out the popcorn and beer 'round midnite and check in with Al. If Reagan Medgie is on there freakin' out like she was in Buffalo back in November, I'm gonna drive to NYC and make a yellow snow angel out of her azz !!!
