A note to all my proofreaders: i plan on finishing the final draft tomorrow night, but have been fighting vertigo that makes it hard to concerntrate and hard to look at a woodprocessor screen.
Oh, that is nasty stuff Adam. I started getting that just about 2 years ago. It does not come on too often, thankfully and I take a couple antivert pills and soon am back in business. When I have it, laying down is about all I can do. Just imagine trying to walk on large yacht that is rolling in 90' waves. Sometimes it isn't that light; it gets worse.
I am hoping to find some of those when we going to pick up the old lady's script in an hour. It all startrd with a migraine Sunday night.
They are by prescription only Adam. I don't know if there are any otc for vertigo or not. Sometimes something like valium will help too. The strange thing is that we have not been able to determine what brings it on. Only that it is worse laying down or in the act of laying or getting up.
If a choice of being knocked out or vertigo, I think I would have to choose being knocked out for a while.
I had vertigo last winter from being ill, head and ears both clogged. It was quite frightening, especially trying to turn over in bed or get out of bed, I knew which way I intended to go but my body did not respond in the same direction. And like you Dennis, it was worse from laying down.
Yes, that sounds just like what I get. Fortunately I've had it happen only a couple times away from home. A couple weeks ago after having an x-ray when I went to get up off the table, the room suddenly started spinning. I also go to a lady who does massage and it happened there one time. Not a whole lot you can do except wait until it is over. I have heard of just a couple places where they can do some therapy and supposedly stop it. Something about the ears. You can find several videos of the procedure on youtube but we haven't yet tried any of them.
Feeling a lot better today, but think I still need to wait another day before I spend too much time staring at the screen.
Finally made revisions and posted this as a resource here on FHC. Please have a final look and let me know if anything needs changed. From here I will be looking for pictures and working on a forward and a few other details before posting it on Amazon. Thanks again to everyone who helped. http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/for...-to-not-make-your-neighbours-your-enemies.11/
Just let us know when you want pictures. I can email some to you rather than posting them on here so it will speed things up.
Looks good Adam.. There is one sentence that I would change and it reads: Some people even cut small trees into timbers for this purpose. I suggest removing the word "even" so it reads as follows: Some people cut small trees into timbers for this purpose. It's your baby it's up to you.. Rar
I am reading for pictures if anyone has any to share. Here are some that I am looking for: heavy creosote, dirty burning chimney and clean burning chimney (ideally similar photos), happily burning woodstove (maybe sith family or pets enjoying the heat), fire startup photos, anything that can be see as neighbours dicussing wood burning out amongst the stacks. And any other nice pics youve got, i will use the best of the best. You can post pics here, pm them to me, or ask me for my email address.
