Yea, hes great. I love how he gets all into it. The bald meteorologists are the most accurate. It shows they have been through the most serious storms that blew their hair off.

Yes it runs the 1/2 hp well pump and furnace at same time so we can shower. Can run fridge and freezer at same time as well. The gas is for snow blower too.

Top loading stove that was real popular up here in New England 40 years ago or so. Made someplace in western Mass iirc. My sister has one. Not sure it was made by Tempwood though.
Those round holes to each side of the wood loading cover are air tubes that go 1/2 to 2/3 of the way down into the firebox. Pretty simple design that worked rather well.

Seems we are almost out of milk.
Trip to the grocery store is on the to do list today.
Gotta eyeball the canned stuff cuz we've been using the emergency stash cuz it was aging.

My sister went to the grocery store last night, said the shelves were almost empty on some things.

Last night i helped dad get his skidsteer loaded and ready to take to his place. My plow truck is set and ready to go so when i get done plowing at work all i have to do is hop in and go, unless dad plows himself out and heads here first. Snow totals are all over the place but it does looks like we'll at least get 12"+ .

    We can handle it....;)

I'm inland in the PA mtns, we got around 4" here overnight, supposed to get 3-6" more over the next 16hrs. I'm busting my azz to get the snowmobiles motor swapped out into the donor chassis that Pallet Pete brought in from Michigan to Dex's for me. We'll have around a foot or so on the ground by tomorrow, I've got a ton of white oak to haul off of the farm and I need my sled to do it!! As soon as I get home from work the fun commences......I hope to have the motors swapped out tonight and have it running by tomorrow evening! Wish me luck! :coffee:
