I wouldnt doubt it. This thing is merging from the pacific, with 200 mph winds aloft, and will slow down and explode once it gets there.

Ill have fun and go with the forecasters prediction of 15"-18" :D

I took a quick look this morning, looks like it's concentrated on the coast line and lesser amounts inland. 12+ inches for my and Rays area.

Looks like an old fashion storm forming up. If that one doesn't make you happy, "they" are talking of another for the next weekend. I stay inside during these storms. No need to go outside.

Two weather stations have reported 28" and blizzard conditions for our area, Monday night into Tuesday. This storm could make up for December and January.

Wow, you folks are gonna get belted. We are supposed to have a clear cold week with the exception of Thursday. @ least you have a good amount of time to prep for it. Hope you all stay safe and your power stays on. We only have a few inches of snow on the ground up here, nothing by our standards for sure.

The forecasts here are all starting to line up. NWS blizzard warnings says 18-24. Our local NBC says 16-24. Boston globe guys puts us on the border of a 16-22 band and the 18-24 bulls eye. I think Ray and IS might be in the bulls eye.

Today we are down to the cape for dinner at my moms. Tomorrow the snow is supposed to start sometime after lunch and last thru wed early AM.

Most of my prep was done before yesterdays snow. I did move more wood up this AM, down to the dregs of the small shed so starting into one of the backup stacks now, which conveniently all happens to be 2012 oak split large :axe::D Since we are out all day I let the stove go cold and cleaned everything out. Joey wanted to help dad

Of course it figures he is dressed already for dinner at Grandma's, so I'm trying to teach him not to make too much dust.

    stay warm everybody :campfire:

Seen below, we expect to continually to get whalloped by the heavy bands. A local prediction center dedicated to our area is forecasting 15"-18". Currently, we have 8" on our roof, another 4" possible tonight into tomorrow, and with this big one coming, Ill be shoveling on semi flat roof and awning- never a fun job.
