Next time I see, or if I ever see, my ex again, I am going to ask him how Puppetmaster is doing. Lol.

My personal nickname for DIY masonry stoves is Easy Bakes, as in easy bake ovens. :D

Good thread WW. I started laughing the very first thread...as I looked up and can see 6 tape measures lined up like soldiers ready to go to war.
99 is much like jharkins spouse. I, on the other hand, realize the worth in many many varieties of valuable irreplaceable items! Guess we sorta "balance" each other out???

I think that you and 99 are in cahoots. She will "put away" (hide) things on me, too! Some kind of secret network all you women have going on with each other.....

I don't need my wife to hide stuff from me. I do a great job of it myself. Famous words I'm gonna put this right here so I know where it's at.

I used to snag pens and coffee cups.
You can fit quite a few pens in a coffee cup and I had a dozen of them lined up at one time. Hotels, motels, resorts, seminars, stores, offices, any place that would hand you pen to sign a form or use. I'd keep it. Lying around - in my pocket.
They dry up and are worthless in not much time so I had to stop.
Plus I developed a preference for gel ink rollerballs.

I have 5 or 6 cases of ceramic coffee cups I'm never going to live long enough to ever use so I stopped bartering and begging those too.

    same with husband

Useless office supply trivia, a shaver company developed the gel ink after a developer tried the lubricating strip gel on disposable razors in ink LOL. I think it was Bic?

Cool thread. It's kind of making me think of how my subconscious thinks and what it does without me really knowing.
Construction pencils; I leave them everywhere and I'm always looking for one. I always seem to find them in the laundry.

I'm a kitchen clepto. My wife will make cupcakes and I will see them cooling on the rack and eat one without the frosting. That actually gets me in trouble

I am a fabric and clothes hoarder. Anything with history attached to it, I can't throw out. You all saw my restore of the children's furniture. When my grandfather passed away, each of the family ended up with furniture from the house. It is kind of neat to visit each of them and see it there. As a geneology researcher, I hoard certificates, paper documents, newspaper clippings etc. Right now my sewing room and computer room need a through cleanout. Campinspecter says "when you retire". I keep financials records back 10 years and our income tax returns since we were married (43 years) Fortunately we live in a big house for two people. I guess I am more of a hoarder than a cleptifier.

When our daughter was here over Christmas, she took away 20 years of Christmas and birthday cards to use for crafts in her classroom. Yep - more of a hoarder.

I am very good at loosing my tape measure...buying another...then finding it...then loosing it again. There are no less than 5 lost somewhere in the house/shop at this moment. I bought another yesterday.

Back in the day when we both used to tape offices for custom furniture in attempt to disuade him from MY tape, I bought a florescent pink and florescent purple florescent green one. All but the green is gone now   I wonder what clients thought when he pulled out the florescent pink one
