Yeah, I use those too from time to time.

But if the current brewer dies, dont get a Keurig 2.0 as they now have a freaking lid reader on it and wont let you use the refillable or even a non Keurig approved brand such as generics. If the lid does not say Keurig Approved in tiny letters around the rim, it wont brew the coffee. People are pizzt after buying these and unable to use some of their favorite coffee.

Right where I want to be.
There are workarounds from what I've heard.

My Keurig started giving me fits, and after several failed attempts to get it functioning, I tossed it.
I really liked it, but the cups are pretty expensive compared to a regular coffee maker.
My son got it for me for Christmas about 3 years ago.

Crap, what a night we had! About an hour after this post, power dropped out for good. The fire in the drolet was going good, the candles were ready along with one oil lamp and the flashlights were handy. Now I subscribe to a provider that once the power drops, even the phone is dead...not used to that.
The whole down side to this is that no matter what, the sump continues to fill with ground water until it overflows the pit and starts looking for the lowest point on the basement floor! The floor drain is about 35' away, but the sump in in an addition with the pitch of the floor facing away from the floor drain. So do you let the floor flood out until the water eventually makes it's way back to the floor drain? Everything in the workshop would get wet. Option 2? Bail out the sump pit and dump into buckets; carry buckets of water to floor drain and empty. Repeat as needed. As needed is to the tune of every 1/2 half hour, about 10 trips back and forth. Power came back on almost 6 hours later, but no phone internet tv until a short while ago.
    Glad it's over, anyway.
