I used to work 12 hour days with paid lunch. They took away paid lunch and extended the day another half hour. It's a really long day and didn't get home until close to 8PM. Had to go to bed at 9PM so the entire day was a mad scramble. At least with eight hour day I get a little daylight to get Firewood in and trash out, etc.

o_O 80-85! That's too many hours Pete. I put in 40 at the regular job, unless I am working a little overtime during the busy season, then 50-60. And when working just 40 hours I usually do 20 between cutting wood, working on the property and house, or a mix of that and a little side work. 60-65 hours/week is plenty man. An occasional week of 70-80 every once in a while is one thing. (I guess it depends on the type of work you doing as well.) But you have to have time to enjoy the family and rest and relax some. Good for the soul. And the body!:dennis::chef::grizz::MM::cheers::thumbs:

It sure is pretty lol. Not easy seeing sitting idle still! I will eventually get the planets in alignment and have the wood and time to cut it at same time.

Seriously if I had wood to cut I would have been out there. It will happen. I feel bad about this.

Don't feel bad, just enjoy it while it's still shiny! My main saws haven't made any noise since early December now due to work, weather, family, etc. Mot that I haven't been running saws but they have all been repairs or a vintage machine I have been playing with.
