Forecasters still thinking all snow here, with a slight possibility of freezing rain tomorrow morning. Snow late tonight, through tomorrow afternoon, up to 6". At least I can get the plow out.

I'm okay without the snow here. The cutting and moving of wood has been going well. When I have the time that is.

reports still mixed here... Some say 8 inches... some say it could warm enough to turn into rain...

Anyway, since I havent had the excuse yet this year i did my pre-storm routine. Loaded a weekends worth of wood into the back door stack, hauled out the blower, fired it up and checked the tires, test ran the genny and made sure the gas cans where full.

Which of course just jinxed us to get nothing.

LOL Same here. I picked up an extra 5 gallons for the genny, put the back blade on the tractor and will be making pheasant and pigs feet pie tonight rather than tomorrow in case the power goes out. My oven isnt on the transfer switch to the genny so I wouldnt be able to make the meat pie tomorrow.

4-6" projected for us. I only needed gas on the way home, But had to deal with the french toast crowd. So it took a wee bit longer than usual. Funny how a bit of snow sets people into a frenzy. Really doubt less than a foot will slow us down much. Certainly is fun to watch them scurry though!!

Let it snow, But would prefer it went out to sea or something. The older I get the more I hate it!

    Stay safe everyone!!

Screenshot_2015-01-24-04-07-17.png Took the dog out a little bit ago....... 8" and snowing heavy. These forecasters had it more accurate when I started this thread a few days ago.

Yep they should have gone with the first forecast. We have over 6" at 6:00 am. There were calling for up to 4-6 in total. Unfortunately it's also 34 degrees.

I am in the D area. We got maybe 3", it started to mix last night. This is some HEAVY stuff, glad I don't have much to shovel. (Neighbor likes to play on the 4wheeler and always plows us out, were an extra 200 yards after his house on the lane.)

Up here they had lowered the forecast yesterday but now upped it again. I think there is about 3 inches on the groun now and depending on what you read we are expecting 4-7 or 6-10.

Also talk of a possible foot Tuesday.

I like it. I plan to take out the new truck later to test the 4 wheel and new tires in this stuff.

They raised ours from 3-6" to 4-8". We've got 4" easy already.

    Blah!

I took the truck out. First time driving it in any kind of snow. The roads are slick but decently plowed, so not really a test- however I can say that so far I like these Nokian Rotiiva all terrains. I was able to go up slippery hills in 2WD without any problem, and the breaking, turning feel is pretty good.
